Carl founded Summit in 2010 and has been in practice for over 25 years, focusing on orthopedic and neuromuscular diagnoses. He is highly regarded for his work with professional athletes and also connects with a broad range of ages and abilities. Carl believes in developing custom, individualized solutions for the best outcomes.
Healthy lifestyle decisions lead directly to his patient care approach. As both an exercise physiologist and physical therapist, Carl experiments with practice principles and training concepts in his free time.
Carl appreciates the need to keep healthy, active, and competitive in sports and in life. He leads an active lifestyle in Medfield with his wife Jessica and 3 children.

Stacey Berger has over 35 years of clinical experience in Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation, Women's and Men's Health, and Orthopedics. Stacey has established herself in the greater New England area as one of the leading experts in women's health. She has lectured extensively and instructed Fellows within the UMass Medical Urogynecology Program regarding pelvic physical therapy.
Her clinical practice focuses on exceptional care for each patient by promoting and enhancing health throughout the lifespan. Stacey provides individualized treatment care for continence control management, pelvic pain, male chronic pelvic pain, sexual dysfunction, oncology rehabilitation, GI/abdominal visceral conditions, gender affirming pelvic care, orthopedic and spine conditions, pregnancy and postpartum musculoskeletal dysfunction, including pubic symphysis pain, SI joint and coccyx pain and diastasis recti abdominal separation, peri to post-menopausal care. She is Star certified in Oncology Rehab and served as a patient education committee member for the International Pelvic Pain Society (IPPS).
Outside of work, you will find Stacey enjoying an active lifestyle with her husband and 2 daughters including hiking, biking and kayaking within the Massachusetts’ South Shore region.

Opal began her career in movement with a love of ballet. She developed a dance and fitness program in East Providence, RI, where she encouraged toddlers through adults to develop body awareness and well-being. Opal obtained her second Bachelor’s degree in Education and transitioned to a K through 12 teaching career.
Opal was led back to the world of fitness through Pilates, “Pilates for me is an internal awakening. It’s an investment in my overall well-being by providing a release from daily stress.”
With 20 years of Pilates practice Opal returned to aiding others and began her training as a Pilates instructor. Her dance and classroom teaching experience enhance her skills in assisting others to listen to their bodies’ needs and make the corrections necessary for healthy lifestyles.
With a focus on balance, strength and conditioning, Opal targets triggers and muscle groups to build a strong frame for the prevention of injuries. Opal assists clients with balance and stability, core strengthening, restorative conditioning, postural support and overall movement confidence.

Daniel Destin holds a BS in Exercise Science and is certified by (NASM) the National Academy of Sports Medicine. He has almost 20 years in the fitness and wellness field. As a personal trainer he has helped to improve the physical performance of many clients using evidence-based programming. He believes in safe but challenging exercise progression to help you realize your goals.
Daniel served in a leadership role at Newton-Wellesley Hospital as manager of the hospital based fitness center since 2007. He created several interdepartmental collaborations with the out-patient physical therapy department for a seamless continuum of care from practitioner to fitness coach.
Daniel enjoys all sports but loves playing and watching basketball. He encourages his three kids to stay physical fit year-round with fun activities like dance, soccer and of course basketball.

Avery is a graduate of UMass Lowell, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science along with a Graduate Certificate in Public Health Studies. During her time there, she competed as a Division I track athlete, specializing in middle-distance events.
Avery has developed a strong passion for balance training, injury prevention, and circuit-based exercise, with a particular focus on working with the aging population. Her diverse background includes experience in personal training, strength and conditioning, coaching, physical education, and gait analysis for footwear. She is dedicated to helping individuals move better, stay active, and achieve their personal health and fitness goals.
Outside of the clinic, Avery enjoys spending time outdoors, exploring new foods, and being with her fiancé, her kitten, and her family. .

Deborah Brissenden is a Clinical Exercise Physiologist with more than 30 years of experience specializing in cardiology and cardiovascular wellness. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Ithaca College and her Master of Science in Exercise Physiology from Adelphi University.
Debbie holds several professional certifications, including ACSM Clinical Exercise Physiologist, Pulmonary Function Test Technologist, and AACVPR Certified Cardiac Rehabilitation Professional. As a former collegiate gymnast, she developed a lifelong passion for health, fitness, and helping individuals achieve their wellness goals through safe, effective, and evidence-based exercise programming.
Throughout her career, Debbie has been dedicated to empowering people to improve their cardiovascular health, optimize physical function, and build sustainable habits that support long-term well-being.
Outside of her professional work, Debbie enjoys skiing during the winter months and traveling with family and friends. Among her favorite destinations are Greece, Japan, and Thailand. In the summer, she can often be found relaxing at the beach or spending time by the pool with her husband, two daughters, and their dog.

A graduate of the Massage Institute of New England in 2004, Heather has developed extensive experience in therapeutic bodywork with a particular focus on deep tissue massage. Throughout her career, she has studied a variety of modalities and integrates myofascial release, trigger point therapy, assisted stretching, and lymphatic massage techniques to customize each session to the individual's needs.
Heather partners with clients to help them achieve their therapeutic goals and is passionate about helping people reduce pain, improve muscular function, and develop a deeper connection with their bodies.
